Terms of Service
Effective: August 25, 2026
1. Agreement
By using the Stock Widgets app or stockwidgets.app (the “Service”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. The Service
Stock Widgets shows market data, watchlists, and portfolio information in Android widgets and companion features. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and is provided for information only. Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, or legal advice — and we are not a broker-dealer or investment adviser.
3. Brokerage linking
Optional brokerage connections are made through SnapTrade with read-only access: the Service can view holdings and balances to display them, and can never place, modify, or cancel trades or move funds. Your brokerage relationship remains solely between you and your broker.
4. Accounts
Sign-in is by one-time email codes. Keep access to your email secure — anyone with your code can access your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account, and you must provide accurate information.
5. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans (Live, AI) are billed through Google Play or Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until canceled.
- The AI plan may include a 7-day free trial — cancel before it ends to avoid being charged.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
- Refunds follow Google Play’s or Stripe’s policies plus any rights you have under local law.
- Prices may change; we’ll notify you before a renewal at a new price.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the Service: no scraping or reselling market data, no reverse engineering except where the law allows it, no interfering with the Service or other users, and no use that violates applicable law.
7. AI content
AI-generated briefs, summaries, and alerts are produced automatically and may be incorrect or incomplete. Always verify before acting. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding your data and third-party market data), belongs to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your devices.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that market data or AI output is correct or timely.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for trading losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the Service or other users.
12. Changes; governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date is acceptance. These terms are governed by applicable United States law together with any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence. Disputes go to the courts competent for your residence or ours, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
